Abstract :
From financial computing to websites, Java is the programming language for the past 10 years. Four million Java programmers did applications in cell phones, PDAs, web servers and databases. IBM, Bea, Oracle and 20 other firms have embraced Java. What is next? Microsoft C# (C sharp) programming! MS Visual Studio 2005 (C++, Visual Basic and C#) and Visual Studio 2005 SQL Server were released. Dice.com listed 860+ jobs in C#.net programming in 2006! There were only 120 C# jobs in 2002. This speaker taught two C# classes to 18 people in 2006. What is the fuss about? The speaker will address the special features of C# .NET Programming.

Donald Hsu has been a professor and a management consultant. He taught 70 subjects from Accounting to UNIX to 7700+. Donald is a paid consultant with 5 CEOs on global finance and E-Commerce projects. He has started and sold three firms, and has traveled to 59 countries (33 in Europe). Software and SOX Compliance

Abstract :
Regulatory mandates need to be addressed at all phases of the software development life cycle. However, technical personnel and IT managers may not know how to make it part of the SDLC. This talk includes an overview of SOX compliance requirements relating to software, frameworks used to achieve compliance, risks and possible mitigating controls, and tips about implementing compliance measures.

Eli Rohn has a PhD and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has gained a wealth of Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance experience with a variety of client companies that required compliance preparation services, in the US and abroad.

Eva's past presentations on "Best Web Sites? has been incredible, but her "Best Web sites 2007" is awesome! She is continually researching for new, creative, definitive, well designed, interactive top sites among the myriads of resources in the myriads of categories. TCF attendees have come to depend upon her yearly guide for up-to-date places in cyberspace and for search engines that exceed Google in many ways. Her guide will only be distributed to seminar attendees or those who contact her after April 30 at evalkaplan@cs.com.

Eva is founder and director of Computers + Kids which has been providing Princeton Area youth exciting and enriching experiences with computers and technology for 25 years. She is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and included in Who's Who in Science and Engineering. She is a supporter of the National Engineers Week's Future City Competition, Philadelphia Region, and is a longtime judge for Mercer Science and Engineering Club's Science and Engineering Fair.
